Media evaluation - question 1

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products (i.e. film openings.)

We have based our film on some of the scenes from Clover field, this shows the last scene when he is in the tunnel and films his last moments before he dies as well, this is something that we have tried to recreate through the scene that we have when they are shown to be lost in the tunnel. The reason that we have used this at the start of our film is because it will then go back to earlier in the day and so we have done the film in the opposite way to Clover Field.

One of the conventions that we stuck to was the way that the titles appeared, 

This is the first title that appears and we have made it do so on its own against a black screen, this is a common convention of all film openings as it is important that the audience are able to see who has made it.
